Football booster holds fundraiser
Sells croc charms to raise money for team.

With the football season coming to an end, the Eagle Football Booster has come up with one last fundraiser for the team. They are selling croc charms to help raise money for the football team.
“I actually saw them online at the Miller tailgate right before they played us, and I reached out to the lady who was selling them and then she referred me to her distributor and from there it’s just taken off,” vice president Sylvia Barton said.
The booster has a variety of charms that buyers can choose from. Including the VMHS insignia, Eagles logo, VM logo, and much more. They will be sold for $8 a piece, and all money will go towards the football team. So far, they’ve made over $800 in revenue.
”We want to be able to raise as much money as possible for the team more,” Barton said. “Whether it’s coach needing items, or food, or equipment that’s what our goal is to raise the money to give back to this team.”
You can find these croc charms at football booster pop up booths during power hour, football games, and special events held on campus.
“We at this time have a link out that we can share, they can go of veterans memorial football booster club on Facebook and request a link from there and we can send it to them,” Barton said. “We can probably set up another time at school for power hour, and any student who has a design that they would like they’re welcome to give them to us.”
The fundraiser will run until the booster club runs out of croc charms. Design ideas are welcome, and there aren’t any worries if buyers can’t get to them in time. As the booster said that they will sell them again in the future as long as people want them.
“We’re definitely looking at selling them again, we’re also looking at other designs so that we can continue to sell them,” social media correspondent Leslie Hernandez said.
