Sony Holds PS5 showcase event

After a long wait, Sony has finally announced its monthly PS5 live event for last Friday. Instead of being called State of Play like the previous streams they called it the PS5 showcase.
The event was held virtually through twitch, YouTube live, and PlayStation.com, and focused on showcasing new and upcoming games. It featured interviews with game developers such as Kazunori Yamauchi and the team at PlayStation studios.
Many exciting games were both teased and announced including the new God of war, Gran turismo 7, Spider-Man 2, and Ratchet & Clank rift apart. We also got coverage on Deathloop, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Bloodhunt, Ghostwire Tokyo, and Tchia.
Aside from trailers and interviews with developers, we saw some long awaited gameplay of new games such as, Gran turismo 7, Tchia, God of War, Deathloop and even Bloodhunt.
Many games featured in the event were either announced for launch the day of the event or release dates were released. Many of which are scheduled for launch in early to mid 2022.
