To play sports collegiately is a dream come true to many athletes, let alone playing alongside your best friend? An experience of a lifetime.

Christian Laridis and JT Zepeda have decided to further their love for baseball by committing to El Paso Community College.

“It really is a blessing,” Zepeda said. “Just being able to continue doing what I love is just a blessing.”

Zepeda was able to put Laridis into contact with El Paso Community College which eventually led to their dual commitment.

“I honestly can’t wait,” Laridis said. “With my best friend, it’ll definitely be a fun ride.”

With baseball coming up fast, Zepeda and Laridis have been sure that baseball is their top priority.

“Our whole team’s been working hard,” Zepeda said. “Last year we didn’t get the outcome we wanted so this year we’re working extra hard to become a better team and bring home a championship.”

They join already signed Matthew Krall (UTRGV), Kobe Andrade (Texas A&M), and MJ Rodriguez (Oklahoma St.).
